Tim Forsyth is Professor of Environment and Development in the Department of International Development at the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom. His work focuses generally on making environmental policy more socially inclusive in developing countries, with a particular focus on governing scientific knowledge and expertise in national and global contexts. He has explored these themes primarily through research on smallholder agriculture and forest policies in South and Southeast Asia, and in community-based initiatives for adaptation to climate change and renewable energy technologies in Southeast Asia.
