Tatiana Gonzaléz Grandón is a mathematician and economist, that develops models and methods to support economic decision-making under uncertainty and risk. Her work emphasizes integrating quantitative techniques with systemic thinking and critical perspectives from post-development, ecological economics, and climate modeling. A central focus is advancing pluralist approaches that challenge dominant economic paradigms by incorporating complexity, power asymmetries, and epistemic justice into decision-support frameworks.

She has 5 years expertise in rural electrification planning, financing and water-energy-food nexus projects in Togo, Nigeria, Tanzania, Sierra Leone and Niger. 

She has also worked on hydropower management under climate uncertainties in Colombia.
