Kyle Devine is Dean of Graduate Studies and Professor in Environmental Studies at the University of Winnipeg. He previously worked for ten years at the University of Oslo, in both the Department of Musicology and the Oslo School of Environmental Humanities. Kyle’s books include Decomposed: The Political Ecology of Music (MIT Press 2019) and Audible Infrastructures: Music, Sound, Media (Oxford University Press 2021). His next book is about how the musical world is transforming itself in response to climate crisis. It will be published by Verso in 2025.
