Andrea Joslyn Nightingale is Professor of Human Geography, University of Oslo, Norway. Her work links uncertainty, climate change, development, collective action, state formation, the nature-society nexus, natural resource governance and feminist work on emotion and subjectivity. Her recent book is Environment and Sustainability in a Globalizing World, Routledge, 2019. She leads the UNRULINESS network and a research team funded by an ERC Advanced Grant, UNRULY: Unruly entanglements of sociomaterial change, knowledge, and power in energy frontiers (ERC, UNRULY, 101142262).
